Through its 83-year history, "Les Préludes," the final performance at Interlochen Arts Camp, has remained remarkably consistent from year to year. Yet despite this continuity, there have been a number of small changes, exceptions and noteworthy performances over the years.

After passing away during the summer of 2010 at the age of 82, Mary Bain expressed her appreciation for music through a generous gift, made through her estate, to Interlochen Public Radio (IPR).

Five dance students from Interlochen Arts Academy will travel to Washington D.C. to attend an event honoring Judith Jamison, the long-time artistic director of the Alvin Ailey Dance Company, a recipient of the National Medal of Arts, and an icon of contemporary dance.

This fall, 2010, Interlochen College of Creative Arts (ICCA) will offer a
three-day retreat for women, with the goal of helping them reestablish
their creativity “from the inside out.”
