As the 2012-13 Academy year draws to a conclusion, students, faculty and staff are gearing up for the year's finale: Festival Week. The annual celebration of arts and creativity will take place on May 23 and 24, with dozens of performances and presentations of student work scheduled to take place over two short days.
From the jazz ensemble to Shakespeare and film showings, the two-day festival gives parents, friends, family and other arts supporters an opportunity to see the results of one year of hard work and artistic dedication. While admittance to the performances is free, some events are ticketed with priority being given to family members of students who are performing.
The week will conclude with the Commencement Ceremony for the 51st graduating class of Interlochen Arts Academy, which will take place on Saturday, May 25 at 9:30 a.m.
