Andrea Hambrick (IAA 00-03) is a junior editor with Scholastic in New York City.
Jeannette Daley (IAC 01) was a member of the Boston University crew team for four years. She is continuing her rowing as a member of the Philadelphia - Vesper Boat Club, women's lightweight eight-person crew. Jeannette works as a lifeguard, teaches swimming lessons and coaches high school crew in the Philadelphia area.
M. Blair Taylor (IAC 01, IAA 01-03) is performing in the new production of “Les Contes d'Hoffman” at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.
Lesley Garrison (IAC 02, IAA 02-03) performed with Mark Morris Dance Group in its recent five-week United Kingdom tour. She performed in “Bedtime” and “Grand Duo.” She also performed with MMDG in “The Hard Nut” in Berkeley in December 2009 and will join the company in Tel Aviv in January 2010.
Caroline Goulding (IAC 02-03) was named New Artist of the Month for December 2009 by Musical America. Caroline was also nominated for a Grammy for "Best Instrumental Soloist Performance" without orchestra. In November, Ms. Goulding became the youngest winner of the 2009 Young Concert Artists awards.
Patrick Mulvey (IAC 02, IAA 02-03) has been cast as Tony, Billy Elliot's older brother, in the Chicago production of “Billy Elliot: The Musical.” The musical opens March 18, 2010 at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts.
Rebecca Nagle (IAC 02, IAA 02-04) performed at the Poetry Project Friday night reading series at St. Mark's Church in New York City. In January she will perform in Boston, Providence, R.I.; Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Brooklyn, Milwaukee, Detroit, Chicago, Champaign, Ill.; Minneapolis, St. Louis and Kansas City.
Miriam Nussbaum (IAC 03-07) is a junior at Cornell University majoring in linguistics and music. Miriam competed in the sixth annual Cornell concerto competition in December 2009. She performs with the Cornell Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble. She is also a member of the Fingerlakes Flutes flute choir.
Michael Thurber (IAA 03-05, IAC St 05-06) and Ross Mintzer (IAA 03-05, IAC St 05-06) performed with their band Remington for the National Public Radio show “From the Top” staff in October 2009. Their fourth CD is "Human Music." Remington performed for Interlochen Arts Academy students on the campus of Interlochen Center for the Arts in December 2009 as part of their new educational outreach program.
William Violette (IAC 05-06) is a member of the Cornell Symphony Orchestra at Cornell University.
Charlotte Watts (IAC 05) is a sophomore at Emory University in Atlanta, where she studies art history. Her painting “Chou” won best-in-show at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival in 2008. She has also won scholastic gold keys in 2006, 2007 and 2009 at a regional level and a portfolio silver key at a national level in 2008. Charlotte will be studying art in Florence, Italy through Syracuse University’s art program in the spring of 2010.
Timothy Krohn (AS Fac 05) is an assistant to the University of Michigan Marching Band. During the summer of 2009 Tim toured Alaska with Killarney Broadcast, a Celtic band. He is also the music director of Lord of Light Lutheran Church, the Michigan campus ministry church, for five years and he is the founder and music director for the Arbor Brass Choir.
Warren Pennicooke (IAC 06, IAA 06-07) is in the drama B.F.A. program at California Institute of the Arts, where he has finished work as a cast member in Robert Cucuzza's “Hellzapoppin’.” Warren is also executive producer of the London theatre company, Aegis Productions.
Willow Taller (IAC 07-09), a junior at Morris Community High School, performs on flute with the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra, which is composed of college students from Lewis University and Joliet Junior College, Joliet, Ill.
Jason Yoder (IAC 07) performed with Alisa Weilerstein for Michelle Obama and the Classical Music Student Workshop Concert at the White House in November 2009.
Chris Largent (IAA 07-09) is the freshman class president at Emerson College in Boston, Mass.
Colin Diesch (IAC 09) performed as Aladdin in the Battle Creek Junior Theatre production of “Aladdin” in Battle Creek, Mich. In November 2009 Colin portrayed Jacob Price in the short film “Bennetta” filmed in Detroit, Mich.
Jazz flutist, Rachel Rodgers (IAC 09) was recently interviewed on JazzWax, Marc Myers blog on jazz legends and legendary jazz recordings, for her 2008 CD, “Rachel Rodgers - Summer After 7.”
Joshua Shank (IAC St 09) is a composer in Minneapolis, Minn. His composition “Trois Mëditations” will premiere at Chapman University in April 2010.
