Wendy Woodside (IAC 70-72, IAA 73-75, IAC St 75-76) is a makeup artist living in the Chicago area and has her own business "wendycityfaces," specializing in on-location makeup services for the local television and bridal industry. She is also a medically-trained esthetician who provides spa services to clients and training for salons and spas. Her children are Jessica Bundra, age 23 and Zack Bundra, age 18.

Helen (Weidenheim) Gunnarsson (IAC 72-73, 76-77) is a lawyer in Highland Park, Illinois., and writes monthly feature articles as a freelancer for the Illinois Bar Journal, the flagship publication of the Illinois State Bar Association. In the past year she’s written articles on such topics as social networking, finding employment, and using technology to practice effectively away from the office. Three years ago, after a 28-year hiatus, she began taking piano lessons again and recently acquired an 1894 Steinway grand, which she had rebuilt and on which she’s now practicing Bach, Schubert, and Scarlatti. She and her husband, Gunnar, have one daughter, Marianne, who loved her experience as an Interlochen Arts Camp junior camper in 2009 and will return this summer.

Ernest Salem (AS 72-73) held a recital with Hal Grossman (AS 74, IAC Fac 94-95, IAA Fac 94-present) and Paul Sonner (IAC Fac 99-09, IAA Fac 00-present) and a violin master class in the Dendrinos chapel in January 2010. Ernest is a freelance musician in the Los Angeles area. He has performed with the Los Angeles Master Chorale Orchestra, Los Angeles Mozart Orchestra, Long Beach Symphony, Asia American Orchestra and South Coast Symphony.

John Gilbert (IAC 73-77, IAA 76-77) is professor of violin, chair of strings and a member of the Botticelli String Quartet at the Texas Tech University School of Music. His faculty colleagues in the quartet include violinist Kirsten Yon (AS 88, IAC 91, IAC Fac 02-04), cellist Jeffrey Lastrapes (IAC Fac 96-09) and violist T. Renee (Parisoli) Skerik (IAC 76-77, IAA 77-78, UW 79). The quartet has performed to critical acclaim throughout Europe, the United States and South America.

Lucy Bowen McCauley (IAC 74) is founder of the Bowen McCauley Dance Company (BMD) and was awarded the 2009 Arlington Community Hero for her work creating outreach programs that bring the joy and beauty of dance to new audiences, including those facing physical challenges. Also in 2009, the BMD received an Arlington Best Business Award from the Arlington Chamber of Commerce for the best nonprofit organization. BMD's dedication to performing to live music is evident in its upcoming schedule that includes March 6 at Lisner Auditorium in Washington with The Pan American Symphony Orchestra, March 14 at the Rachel Schlesinger Hall in Alexandria, Virginia.with the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, and April 24 at The Kennedy Center Terrace Theatre in Washington D.C. with the Cantate Chamber Singers.

James M. Stephenson, III (IAC 79-84, 86; IAA 83-86; IAC Fac 04, 08) wrote a piece called "La Grande Vitesse." It is a triple concerto for trumpet, horn and trombone and was performed by the Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra in January 2010 during the Michigan Music Conference in Grand Rapids.

Constance (Michael) Smith (IAC 74-75, IAA 75-76, IAC St 76) is an artist, mother of two and performer in the Celtic band, Fifth Reel. Her art can be found at the Blue Pig Gallery in Palisade, Colorado.

Martin Keogh (IAA 74-76) published the anthology "Hope Beneath Our Feet: Restoring Our Place in the Natural World." in September 2010 by North Atlantic Books.

Jon Rumney (IAC 75-77, IAA 78-80, IAC St 80, IAC Fac 94-95) is professor of music, teaches violin, viola, chamber music, music history, strings methods and is co-director of the string ensemble at Minot State University in North Dakota. He is also concertmaster of the Minot Symphony Orchestra.

Steven Van Ravenswaay (IAC 68-76, IAC St 79-81) is a cellist with the Grand Rapids Symphony. He also performs with the ensemble Beyond Classical. In January 2007, Steven self-produced his CD "Cello Songs & Stories.”

Ann (Price) Bingham (IAC St 76-77) and W. Edwin Bingham (IAC St 75-77) are full-time faculty at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Ann is associate professor of music and instructor of clarinet and oboe and twentieth century music history. Edwin is a professor of saxophone and director of jazz studies. He is also a founding member of the Marshall faculty jazz ensemble, Bluetrane, which recently released their first CD. Both Ann and Edwin are featured on the Marshall University music department promotional video.

John A. Madison (UM 78, IAC St 79) is the violist with the Lotus Ensemble along with bassist Richard A. Robinson (AS 77-78, IAC 78-81). John regularly performs with the Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestra, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Sphinx Symphony in Detroit. John is dean of the Sphinx Preparatory Music Institute and cofounder and coordinator of the Cassini Ensemble. John is also a model and can be found in many film and television advertisements.

Bonnie Barrett (IAC St 79) is the vice president of Barret Vantage Artists, an artist management agency in New York City.
