Is the Stone Center Cafeteria open during Welcome Home Weekend?
Yes! Alumni and guests may purchase a meal ticket directly from the Stone Hotel Desk for $9 per meal, or $25 for the day. Meal times are listed on the Welcome Home Weekend schedule and dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
I’d like to purchase Interlochen gear. Will the Scholarshop be open during Welcome Home Weekend?
Yes, the Scholarshop will be open throughout Welcome Home Weekend. Detailed information about the hours of operation will be added to the schedule and will be posted at Apollo Hall.

I’m flying to Traverse City and need ground transportation. Help?

Where can I stay for Welcome Home Weekend Weekend?

How do I enter campus? Where can I park on campus?
Please enter campus through the Main Entrance and check in at the Welcome Center and Campus Safety Building. A safety officer will guide you toward a parking location so you may check in at the Stone Hotel Desk for your on-campus lodging, or you may park in any lot and walk to Apollo Hall to check in. Visit www.interlochen.org/map for a map of campus and more information. Free parking is available on campus throughout the weekend.
Where do I check in once I arrive on campus?
All Welcome Home Weekend registrants are required to first check in at Apollo Hall to obtain their name badge, Interlochen swag and weekend schedule. Entrance to selected activities may be ticketed and tickets will be included in your registration packet.
What do I wear?
General attire for the weekend is casual. Please plan to bring (or purchase at the Scholarshop!) your Interlochen logoed gear, along with informal clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Be prepared to bring layers and dress comfortably. Remember, weather in Interlochen can be unpredictable, so please pack for rain or shine. Sunscreen and bug spray may be needed, or a sweatshirt and warm socks. The temperature in July can range between 55-95 degrees.
What mobility services are available during Welcome Home Weekend?
Throughout the weekend, staff and volunteers will be available to provide golf cart shuttle service to those alumni and guests who need assistance getting around campus. Please be sure to mention any needs at registration, or contact the Engagement Office at 231-276-7360 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Are there campus policies I need to be aware of?
Interlochen maintains a smoke-free, alcohol-free and weapon-free environment. For the safety of others, pets are not allowed in buildings on campus and must be leashed at all times. Additional safety concerns may be directed to our Campus Safety staff at 231-276-7575.
