The Interlochen Writers Intensive is a retreat opportunity for writers of all levels to engage in and discipline their craft in one of three genres: fiction, poetry and life writing. The intensive is designed as an immersion into the writing culture and learning community that thrives at Interlochen. 

Participants will explore the genre of their choice through readings, conversation, lectures, field trips and gatherings. The Writers Intensive offers four days of generative writing with outstanding instructors in a place that nurtures the novice and expert alike.
