This workshop is based on the idea that writing and painting both flow from careful observation and active revision and that the writing and painting processes have much to lend to each other. For writers who are interested in learning from the process of painting or vice versa, or for anyone who is intrigued by the idea of combining these two arts, this workshop will help explore how to synthesize words and paint to improve artistic skills in each.
“The enthusiasm and knowledge base of the staff was excellent. Their ability to adapt to the specific needs of the individual students was wonderful. I would love to work with the staff again.”
Linda Kubik, 2007 Poetry, Prose and Paint Workshop Participant
"The faculty was excellent. There was a perfect mix of writing and studio time."
Carol Voigts, 2007 Poetry, Prose and Paint Workshop Participant
