After only two years, the Interlochen Guitar Institute attracted a large number of skilled amateur musicians, faculty and guest artists. Acoustic giant Leo Kottke headlined the Interlochen Guitar Institute Concert Series. Course offerings included blues, rock, slide, acoustic recording, arranging, world music, music business, scale visualization, flamenco, instrument construction and maintenance.
