Academy Boarding School Major
The Theatre Arts program at Interlochen Arts Academy is designed for young actors who are serious about their craft. Through challenging coursework and guidance from a faculty of actor-educators, students develop their skills in all aspects of acting and theatre.
Ken Ludwig, two-time Olivier Award-winning playwright, spent two weeks with students from the High School Repertory Theatre Production summer program as they worked on a production of his play Midsummer/Jersey.
Recently, Camp alumnus Barrett Foa established the Barrett Foa Musical Theatre Scholarship. It will be given annually to a high school camper studying musical theatre who shows strong potential for growth. “Crescendo” asked Barrett to share his thoughts about establishing the scholarship and how his own Interlochen experience has shaped his life and career so far.
