Creative Writer Named Presidential Scholar

Delali Ayivor, a creative writing student at Interlochen Arts Academy, has been named a Presidential Scholar in the Arts. The 18 year-old senior is the 41st Arts Academy student to earn the distinction of being named a Presidential Scholar.

Each year, the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts (NFAA) nominates up to 60 young artists for consideration by the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars. This spring, Andrew Bahle, a senior percussion major at Interlochen Arts Academy, was named as a finalist in this group of exceptional young artists.
