The Tony and Grammy Award-winning performer Heather Headley made a surprise visit to theatre students during Camp 2010. She worked with all theatre students, but especially the cast of Aida, a title role that she originated on Broadway.

This May, Thomas Kitt (IAC 90) received a Pulitzer Prize for his work as composer and co-orchestrator for Broadway musical drama, "Next to Normal." This most recent recognition comes on the heels of two Tony Awards in 2009 for "Best Score" and "Best Orchestration."
