Summer theatre camps at Interlochen offer students the opportunity to study with some of the top artists and educators in the field, from all over the United States. Summer theatre programs are available for students who have completed grades 3-12 and cover a wide range of topics, including musical theatre, design and technology, repertory theatre, acting, and more.
Summer theatre programs:
- High School Division (grades 9-12)
High School Theatre Arts summer programs provide a complete pre-professional experience, including full-scale, fully-designed productions before large audiences.
- Intermediate Division (grades 6-9)
Summer Theatre Arts students will be completely immersed in the exciting work of theatre. You will begin experimenting with the building blocks of performance.
- Junior Division (grades 3-6)
Junior Division Theatre Arts campers develop their skills and explore new ones. Talent exploration and development are the main goals of this division. Campers can explore their love of theatre and the stage in a supportive, fun environment.
Please note: 6th graders may apply to either Junior or Intermediate Division Theatre programs, and 9th graders may apply to either Intermediate or High School Division Theatre programs.
