Overview

Motion Picture Arts provides students with a progressive and interdisciplinary experience in filmmaking. Students will develop a deeper understanding of visual storytelling and the fundamental components of cinema in screenwriting and production. All fully completed work will be screened/performed in an end of camp showcase.

Details

The MPA Screenwriting Program offer students five hours of daily instruction and lab hours to work individually on their scripts and screenplay format.

Portfolio Requirements

Please submit two of the following three items:

• 5-page sample screenplay
• 5-10 pages of short fiction
• short video/film or animation

Please remember to label the portfolio submission with the applicant’s name, division, and the intended program.

Applicants who apply by February 1 will be notified of admission decisions by April 15. Late applicants will be notified on a rolling basis.
