Combining a love of words and a love of nature, Interlochen offers an intensive, supportive and enthusiastic student writing curriculum in the pristine surroundings of Michigan's north woods.

This program provides students with a three-week immersion in the world of writing. Guided writing assignments, reading assignments, visiting guest writers, film screenings, discussion and critique are part of the regular curriculum. Students will work under the apprenticeship of professional writers and teachers on an individual basis.
