Interlochen Arts Camp dance programs offer a curriculum designed for the serious student who wishes to study both ballet and modern dance in a concentrated, creative atmosphere. All classes provide a positive, focused environment and are designed to challenge every student to develop to the fullest extent of their abilities.
Classes are taught by a distinguished faculty, all of whom are working professionals in the field of dance. In addition to teaching daily technique classes, the instructors restage choreography and create original works in a variety of styles that showcase students. Each three-week session culminates with a public showing of the repertory pieces.
Applicants submitting a recorded audition are encouraged to apply before February 1 and will be notified of admission decisions within six weeks. Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis until full enrollment is reached. Applicants auditioning in person do not need to submit a video recording and will receive notice of admission decisions within two weeks of their auditions. View list of regional audition sites.
