David Montee, Ph.D.
Director of Theatre, Interlochen Center for the Arts. Degrees received from University of Oklahoma, Wayne State University and University of Kansas. Directed and acted in over 150 stage productions. Performed in feature films, industrial television and radio in New York, Massachusetts, Kansas, and Michigan. Published in Theatre History Studies, The Drama/Theatre Teacher, and The Uncommon Reader. Cited in Who's Who Among America's Teacher(1995, 1998). Named as a Distinguished Teacher by the U.S. Department of Education (2001).
Erin Galligan, B.A.
Choreographer, Intermediate Musical Theatre Production and Intermediate Musical Theatre Workshop. IAC, 1990 and 1991; Interlochen Arts Academy, 1993. BA, University of Michigan honors college; graduate courses in dance education and performance studies, New York University. Ms. Galligan is director of theater at Lyndon Institute, an independent high school in northern Vermont where she is instructor of Acting, Design and Production, Speech and Communications and directs and choreographs the school's productions. Other teaching: freelance teaching artist in New York City where she developed dance, theater and literacy curriculum with Young Audiences and the Brooklyn Arts Council; member of theater faculty, IAC 2000 and 2001. Performing credits include: The Bread and Puppet Theater (performer and dancer), NYC Fringe Festival (actor), Kickstand Dance (dancer), Notes in Motion Choreography Collective (choreographer and dancer).
Lynne Giacalone Church, M.M.
Voice. Private studio teacher, Traverse City, MI. Has sang leading roles with Chautauqua Opera, Connecticut Opera, Greater Miami Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Kentucky Opera, Lyric Opera of Dallas, and Nevada Opera. Performed role of "Carlotta" in Andrew Loyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera with the Toronto company. Degrees received from Central Michigan University and the University of Michigan.

Director, Intermediate Musical Theatre Production. Instructor of Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Arts at Interlochen Arts Academy. M.F.A, American Repertory Theatre/Moscow Art Theatre School Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University; B.F.A. (Magna Cum Laude), Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University; Interlochen Arts Academy (class of 1989). Performed or directed in theatres from West Africa to Russia and all over the United States. Previously Education Director for the California Theatre Center. Other teaching: Drama Instructor for the New Art Center (MA); Artist in Residence for Arts in Progress (MA) and TheatreWorks (CA); Young Company Instructor for The Publick Theatre (MA). Member of Actors' Equity Association, the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
Anne Cooper, B.F.A.
Instructor of Theatre Arts. Serves as a board member for the Motion Picture Arts program at Interlochen - Member of SAG/AFTRA and AEA - Actor/director for film, TV, and stage - Studied at LAMDA in London, and in New York with Uta Hagen and Michael Shurtleff - Students include Felicity Huffman, Richard Brooks and Shawn Young. She has worked with Geraldine Page, Paul Schrader, William Hurt, Ellis Rabb, and Mary Beth Hurt. She is currently working for the Gold Production Company in Los Angeles.
Noah Durham Fried, B.F.A.
Instructor of Theatre Arts. Studied acting at Northern Illinois University, the Interlochen Arts Academy, and the Moscow Art Theatre. Noah is a freelance actor and teacher based in Chicago. He comes to Interlochen this summer directly from a tour of eastern Europe performing in Witkiewicz's The Crazy Locomotive.

Instructor, Intermediate Acting Technique. Laura's professional acting credits include Proof (Catherine) at New Paltz Summer Repertory, A Mid-Summer Night's Dream (Helena) and King Lear (Regan) at Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and Romeo and Juliet (Juliet) with the Trinity Repertory Summer Shakespeare Project in Providence, Rhode Island. Laura Recieved her MFA from Penn State University in 2003 and currently lives in Interlochen.

Director, High School Repertory Theatre Production. J.W. currently teaches and directs at the University of Illinois as well as serving as the Assistant Program Coordinator of the INNER VOICES Social Issues Theatre. He also teaches and directs as a faculty member at Parkland College. He received his M.F.A. in Acting and M.A. in Theatre History from University of Illinois. He holds a B.F.A. in Acting from Otterbein College in Westerville, OH.
