This summer, over 2,500 of the world's most talented and motivated young people will come to Interlochen to learn, perform and live with an unparalleled group of peers and educators.
Interlochen Arts Camp is located in Michigan, on a 1,200 acre wooded campus, which includes 120 cabins, three cafeterias and two glacial lakes with recreational frontage. The beautiful resort town of Traverse City is 16 miles northeast of Interlochen
Campers live, learn and socialize in age-appropriate divisions:
- High School (HS) programs are for students who will complete grades 9-12 during the 2008-09 academic year
- Intermediate (INT) division programs are for students who will have completed grades 6-9
- Junior (JR) division programs are for students who will have completed grades 3-6, and will be at least 8 years old at the beginning of their camp session.
Students who will have completed grades six or nine in the 2008-2009 academic year may request consideration to either of two divisions. The admission committee will determine appropriate placement based upon skill level.
