Primary Duties: This position will engineer and operate IT systems in an intricate campus environment. IT is currently responding to changing institutional demands to be a 7x24, five nines with anywhere/anytime access with a rationalized strategy. The ideal candidate will have well rounded skills for IT infrastructure engineering, leading a technical team and providing advanced engineering operational support. Expertise architecting security solutions and system performance management will be critical with the highly visible IT initiative to change the way technology serves the institution. In this role you will need the ability to manage projects and adopt and adhere to IT best practices within the available institutional resources.
You will be responsible to manage a small team charged with maintaining excellent customer service. Working with the IT Director and the IT Leadership team you will be a key member in directing the energy of the department now and to the future. You will work in a high energy and collaborative team environment to assure long-term success.

- Previous IT management expertise
- ITIL Certification
- Education institution experience
- Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Security)
- BA degree in IT related field
- 5+ years experience
