Position: Artist-in-Residence for Sculpture/Ceramics
Possible full time position pending enrollment

Artist-In-Residence
Responsibilities: Three hours a day of college-level studio instruction in sculpture and ceramics to talented and highly motivated high school art students, one evening per week in open tutorial session and monitoring visual arts studios, departmental service and assistance with specialized Thursday programming, assistance with preparation of exhibitions, and other work appropriate to the Academy's mission.
Qualifications: MFA in sculpture, ceramics or other 3D areas with documented work in sculpture and ceramics is desired. Candidates must possess expertise in multiple processes within sculpture and ceramics and have knowledge of both historical and contemporary issues specific to these areas. Additional teaching experience in other areas (art and ecology, photography, drawing, printmaking) is helpful but not required.
