There are a number of part-time positions open at the Scholarshop, the campus retail gift and music store.  Positions will pay $8-$10 per hour.  Job Elements fior the position are below:


PT Shipping and Receiving Clerk:

Candidates for this position must have knowledge of Microsoft Office software. They will also need a valid Michigan driver’s license.  Candidates will need to be able to physically go up and down stairs and lift & carry up to forty pounds. Possesion of good verbal and written communication skills due to the considerable amount of computer and phone work associated with the position.


PT Cashier and Retail Clerk:

Energetic, friendly, and fashion aware person needed to fill a non-seasonal part time position in our campus gift store. Candidates must possess strong computer skills as we use a computer-based point of sale inventory management system. Primary duties include cashiering, creating merchandise displays, and inventory restocking. Must enjoy working with teenage customers as well as with our faculty and staff. This year-round position is typically scheduled for 25 hours per week, including up to two Saturdays per month and a few Sundays per year.


PT Music Clerk:

Energetic and friendly person needed to fill a non-seasonal part time position in our campus music store. A background in Music is greatly preferred.  Candidates must possess strong computer skills as we use a computer-based point of sale inventory management system. Primary duties include cashiering, creating merchandise displays, and inventory restocking. Must enjoy working with teenage customers as well as with our faculty and staff. This year-round position is typically scheduled for 25 hours per week, including Saturdays and a few Sundays per year.
